Day 13 –Alphutte Seemad to Engelberg

This is a fairly long day which we begin with a hike back down and get the lift up to Planplatten, earliest is 9am. We have to leave the hutte as we found it. For those wishing a shorter hike they can take bus/train either to the lake at Engstlenalp 9:54-11:38 and join us for hike up the Jochpass. Or they can go the long was all the distance to Engelberg. Trains go every hour and take about 3 hours you would start at the Magisalp lift.

The hikers all go together with various options including for those who hike up to Jochpass to ride all the way the lift down to Engelberg, Lifts run until 16:00 and take about an hours. They leave from Engstleness and Jochpas and Trubsee. So another easy option is to just hike to Engstleness and ride the lift up to the Jochpass and then all the way down.

Someone doing that might also connect if they wish a side adventure and ride from Trubsee up to Stand and on to the top of Titlis – 3,238m. You can walk around in the snow up there, might be a good option if you did not go up to the Schilthorn or Jungfrau on our rest day.
