We will finally sleep in real SAC Hutte.
We are entering the high mountain country. We have two days to get into the Jungfrau Region in our plan.
Our Hiking Plans are outlined in the Table below, this also speaks to what we do the next day.

Corrie and Thom will separate from the larger group and adventure through the glacier areas.

Corrie and Thom will spend their first night at the Gspaltenhornhutte after a 7,000ft climbing day.

2) Easier plan is to have a leisure morning at the Lake, those who stayed down in Kandersteg can take the lift up in the morning, play in the Lake or hike either side of the Lake halfway to the end. Then take the lift back down from Oeschinensee and then the train all the way to Murren and hike back out to the Rotstockhutte, to overnight in that hutte. We would need to leave early enough from the Lake to catch the 12:15 train to get to Murren early enough to hike out. The next morning Day 8, we can explore the high country below the Schilthoren..…have lunch and move on to Alpiglen where we spend Night 8 & 9. Patti prefers this option as she and I already hiked over Hohturli. We could all do this. If you don’t take the lift down and want to hike to Kandersteg it’s about another 2.1 miles and 1,700ft. But we may be short on time. For now, I have 10 beds reserved for the main group at Rotstockhutte. Even room for Corrie and Thom if the weather turns bad.

When we return on the 14th, we can essentially take the train and lifts all the way to Alpiglen if we wish from Murrren.

Day 8 – Gspaltenhornhutte to(C&T) or from Rotstockhütte to Berghaus Alpiglen
